Planning permission was being sought to demolish an existing residential property that had fallen into disrepair and to manage the gardens associated with the building, which had remained unmanaged for a significant period of time.
Switch Ecology carried out a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal (PEA) of the site, including an assessment of the Net Benefit for Biodiversity (NBB) using the DECCA framework.
The PEA report and NBB assessment were submitted to the local authority in support of the planning application for the site.
